ELOISE MUMFORD is best known for playing the character of “Kate Kavanagh” in the Universal Pictures Feature Trilogy 50 SHADES OF GREY. She can be seen on the most recent season of NBC’s CHICAGO FIRE and will next be seen in the independent film, STANDING UP, FALLING DOWN, opposite Billy Crystal and Ben Schwartz.

Previous films include starring roles in the Hallmark Channel MOW A VETERAN”S CHRISTMAS, the Matt Jones Comedy THE NIGHT IS YOUNG opposite Kellan Coleman, NOT SAFE FOR WORK directed by Joe Johnston for Blumhouse, opposite Max Minghella; DRONES, directed by Rick Rosenthal opposite Matt O’Leary; IN THE BLOOD for director John Stockwell and in the Weinstein Co’s SO UNDERCOVER, directed by Tom Vaughn.

A 2009 Tisch/NYU graduate, Eloise understudied Elizabeth Moss in SPEED-THE-PLOW on Broadway while still in school, ultimately going on opposite William H. Macy and Raul Esparza. Later that year she stared as the female lead opposite Jessie Eisenberg in the Award-Winning Short film “Some Boys Don’t Leave”.

In 2010, Eloise made her television series debut starring as “Lindsay” opposite Jimmy Wolk and Jon Voight in the critically acclaimed and notoriously short-lived FOX series LONE STAR. Eloise next was offered a lead role in in the Dreamworks / ABC series THE RIVER opposite Bruce Greenwood and Joe Anderson, which aired 2011-2012, and then starred opposite Patrick Fugit in the ABC thriller RECKLESS for director Martin Campbell.
